📱How to Play Empire on an Android phone

  • The game will suffer from more bugs and stability issues compared with Mac and PC. The bugs encountered while using the game on Joiplay are most likely emulation errors meaning devs can not help you with those bugs.

  • Joiplay stores the save files in the download folder rather than the Saved Games folder that you would see on Mac. So MAKE A COPY of your save file before updating to new version of Empire as it will remove your save files.

  • Entering into the game may take a few seconds and it may take a few minutes. Some people have said it takes them about 8min. It depends on the phone and the phone’s specs and is simply something I can not help with.

  • Fonts may appear weird it is a issue I am unsure how to fix

Instructions

1. Go to the Google Play Store and type JoiPlay this should be the first thing that pops up. Click on it and click install.

2. After JoiPlay is installed go back onto the Google Play Store and type RPG Maker Plugin for JoiPlay. Click install this plugin will allow you to run Pokemon fan games on JoiPlay and must be downloaded for a fangame to run.

3. Once you have completed those two steps you need to get Pokemon Empire and download it. There are already guides you can find that explain it for the most part so I will simply point out the unzipper you will use and tell you to extract the files to the Downloads folder. The app I use to unzip files on Android is 7Zipper but you can use whatever unzipper you like the most.

4. Open the JoiPlay App and click on the + sign near the bottom

5. Once you click on the + sign it will pull up a menu in this menu the only super important thing is the Exe File that you have to choose. Hit on choose.

6. Hitting on Choose for the Exe File will bring up a menu showing all of the folders on your device go to wherever you extracted Empire. Since I extracted Empire into the Downloads folder I went to the downloads folder.



7. Once you locate Empire open the Empire folder.

8. Once you find the Game.exe in the Empire folder click on it. You will now be able to run the game and it will be on the JoiPlay menu where all of you games will be. Just hit the exe that will be in the JoiPlay menu and the game will run
