In Starlight (Ep. 5), you’re able to pick a second starter. Some starters are available to select from and some aren’t. This all depends on the popularity of the first starter you selected right at the very beginning of your adventure.

Additionally, the mon hatched from the mystery egg The mystery egg that you received from the merchant after completing 15 tasks in Illyria is dependant on the first starter you pick. Each mystery egg mon comes with an egg move

The tiers relate to a popularity poll that concluded months ago. The higher the tier, the higher the popularity. The table below summarises it all.
